Tim
Root, Chief Meteorologist for WeatherWatch Service, has been forecasting
and broadcasting weather conditions for over thirty years.
Believe it or not, Tim's career began at the tender age of 15!
Broadcasting for Sacred Heart University in the 70's, he was the
youngest weather broadcaster in New England!
As a keen Weather Observer for WEZN Radio in Bridgeport, Connecticut,
his opinions became so well regarded that he was soon promoted
to Chief Meteorologist. As a member of the American Meteorological
Society and the National Association of Weathercasters, Tim was
once voted by the public as the best Radio Weather Broadcaster
in Connecticut.
It was always Tim's dream to "... have my own weather service
and be my own boss!" So, after seeing a need for customized
weather forecasts and reporting, Tim founded WeatherWatch Service
in 1990.
Based in Central Florida, WeatherWatch Service is staffed by
many competent, fully trained, fully accredited, professional
meteorologists who utilize all of the very latest technology.
Offering decades of experience, WeatherWatch Service delivers
customized, accurate weather reporting to clients all over the
world. From local micro-forecasts to surf reports to 90-day
extended forecasts...
"WeatherWatch Service gets the job done!"
